The Construction Supplier Register is an open pre-qualification scheme for suppliers of construction works and services interested in Victorian Government building and construction projects.
The Construction Supplier Register prequalification scheme lists prequalified suppliers that have demonstrated they possess the necessary expertise, management systems and financial capacity to undertake works or construction related services for Victorian Government construction projects.
Suppliers listed on the Construction Supplier Register are eligible to be invited to tender for Victorian Government construction projects.
The CSR is structured into two main sections:
- suppliers of construction works, such as builders
- suppliers of construction related services, such as engineers and architects.
This prequalification scheme operates in accordance with the Ministerial Directions and Instructions for Public Construction Procurement in Victoria.
The new Construction Supplier Register IT platform is now live
The Construction Supplier Register’s new IT platform, the Construction Supplier Register Portal, is live for Victorian government departments, state agencies and construction works and services suppliers.
The new platform replaces the previous lotus notes-based system making it easier for:
- Victorian government and state agency users of the Construction Supplier Register to search, identify, shortlist and access registered supplier information, including supplier performance reports (where they have been provided by Victorian government departments and state agencies)
- construction works and services suppliers to assess their eligibility for pre-qualification, apply for pre-qualification and update their records and pre-qualification status.
Government departments and state agencies can access the Construction Supplier Register Portal at Access the Construction Supplier Register Portal for government departments and state agencies.
Construction works and services suppliers can access the Construction Supplier Register Portal, to apply for pre-qualification to the Construction Supplier Register, as well as manage their pre-qualification status on the portal, at Access the Construction Supplier Register Portal – for construction works and services suppliers.
The Construction Supplier Register team is aware some pre-qualified suppliers have not received the email containing password reset and log-in links. DTF is working to resolve this issue and we appreciate your patience. Affected suppliers will receive another email in the coming days once this problem is fixed. National Prequalification System for Non-residential Building
The Construction Supplier Register administers the Australasian Procurement and Construction Council’s National Prequalification System for Non-residential Building greater than $50 million in Victoria.
